Tarpon Springs
We spent today going to somewhat nearby Tarpon Springs. Its a Greek Village on the Gulf of Mexico which fishes for sea sponges. We got there and had a very nice lunch on one of the many Greek restaurants. The food was very good. Wen's main complaint about the Bay Area is that she can't find a decent Greek restaurant. We walked around and found lots of kitchy gifts for my family. I like spending time with Meemaw. Its quite opposite from the stereotypical situation where you are supposed to fight with your mother-in-law.
I have been ignoring Pirate Man. I realize I am being rude because I am in his house but its making me feel somewhat OK.
We bought a VHS player for Meemaw and got her Finding Nemo and watched that while eating pizza and sewing a nightgown for R's Pooh Bear's nightgown.
Tomorrow is Busch Gardens with Teenie and the girls. Our last day in Florida. I really can't wait to get home. I am going to give my parents a big hug and tell them what good parents they are.
More Later,
