Well we are done with our week at WDW. We went to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party. Sadly there was a lot of overlap between Mickey's Not So and the 999 Happy Haunts Ball. Doing both is not really necessary. The parade for Not SO was pretty cool including a float element of the hitchhiking ghosts. How cool would it have been to get a picture with the guys? mrs. mice's nieces were dressed up as a dead cheerleader and an army infantryman. They weren't really into taking pictures with the characters, they didn't like the fireworks, they weren't really into the parade, they were tired by about 10:00. We were a little shocked at how much more into it we were than they were. But oh well, what are you gonna do? Next year if we do the event we are doing it BEFORE Halloween, not on it. People were very grumpy and pissy. I did however get some pins. One of Minnie Mouse and one of Mickey and Minnie in ghost costumes, nice.
The day after Halloween we took the girls to MGM to ride on Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster. Neither were very long of a wait. I felt a little bad for Mrs. mice's Mom who went on neither. We got M's autograph book and that made her want to take pictures more. We got them to take pictures with Dopey and Prince John from Robin Hood. Mrs. mice's mom got R to taunt Prince John by saying "Baby, baby suck your thumb!" This definitely got a reaction and He chased R around for a bit.
We then headed over to Animal Kingdom where we promptly got on Dinosaur. This ride scared me so I was a little surprised that mrs. mice thought the girls could handle it. R cried for her mommy a little bit but was mostly OK. "It's Tough to Be a Bug" also scared them quite a bit but this time Mrs. mice's Mom "Meemaw" enjoyed it more as there was nothing jostling her recently replaced knee.
We took plenty of pics on both days, but since I am on dialup I'm not even gonna try. Once we were done we got some gifts for the girls mom and grove a couple hours to the inlaw's place.
Yesterday I mostly napped and they had a pool party with both T and S's families over. Only A and An were missing. And A and her family are going to be coming back from Germany a week or two after we leave.
Today we attempted to go fishing in Mrs. mice's Dad's Canoe. It rained really bad so we headed in. Now it is sunny and Mrs. mice is playing video games with her dad.
