Added Big Bad to my collection we stopped by “Golden Screams” twice on our 4 day trip and it was well worth it.

Drizella and Anastasia were also found at Screams. Last year I only saw Fowlfellow and Gideon and Hook, and I even sat through the movie which was basically a clip show. This year seems much improved and I skipped the movie entirely.

I have realized that there is no secret to success in finding the characters. I am convinced that the management do everything in their power to prevent you from planning your time around seeing the characters. It all seems built around just bumping into them. The problem is that when it just happens by magic then often the characters have been there a while and they always seem to go for a (well deserved) break just as you get to the front of the line. My new strategy is too take this hit and miss game with a grain of salt.

Going to the character breakfasts is probably my favorite way to get around this. Yes you have to pay, yes its not cheap. But with the exception of Minnie and Friends Breakfast at the Plaza, I like the food. The food at the Plaza is revolting to me and I would not eat there if it meant getting ten character pictures that I really wanted. We went to Ariel’s Princess Breakfast at Ariel’s Grotto and Goofy’s Kitchen. The food was great and the Characters were great. No surprises at Ariel’s (how could there be?) but Brer Fox was at Goofy’s kitchen - very nice!

I asked the info board about characters and they did not tell me anything I did not know. I asked about times I could get a picture of Halloween Minnie but City Hall was not helpful. It happened to be after 4:30 and at 4:30 the Toonfinder goes home. My question is why don’t they print a schedule for the people at City Hall? They don’t trust them or something? Its so wrong it must be intentional. It couldn’t be that screwed up on its own. Someone had to help it.

There was no Villains Corner behind the castle as there has been last year and the year before. I missed that but Screams being better this year than last more than made up for it.

Overall I did OK. Princess Atta was another one I did get, That and Mr. Incredible.
