Netflix is now streaming movies via the PC that you can watch if you are a subscriber. Nothing new there, but I really like it. The movies that they choose to be streamed are all kinda a little bit old though. The first run movies, the kind that would have been gone from the video rental store if you were renting a video from a store. SO its like going to a Blockbuster, only the slightly older and cheesy stuff is there. Like me.

One of the things you can watch on Netflix streaming that I have watched some stand up movies. I love comedy, but I am not typically interested in putting my money where my mouth is. I don’t want to pay to see comedy. I don’t even want to use put comedy shows in my Netflix queue. But the streaming costs nothing and doesn’t even use up a DVD from my queue.

That being said I got to watch some Margaret Cho the other day. Does that say something about me that I like her? I don’t really care, I think she is funny. That is all that I care about. If you think that I am liberal or a poser or a race traitor because I like her I don’t care about that either. Comedians like everyone else have varying political views. I don’t mind if a comedian is conservative or super liberal. If they are funny and insightful then I will watch them.  Margaret Cho is cool. I like her.

What do you think? Do you thing Margaret Cho is funny? Who do you think has a good standup movie/HBO special?
