The name my parents burdened me with is soooo awful! I have always despised my name. When I still lived in the States and Americans (or any other English speakers, really) saw my name on a form, they NEVER knew how to pronounce it.

Thing is, translated to English, it is actually a perfectly acceptable, globally pronounceable name… two tiny letters are what stands between me and a normal name! Yet, it is sadly too terribly expensive to officially change it.
