Just read some excerpts of text from the newest Bin Laden message. Bin Laden is inviting me to embrace Islam.

“The second solution is from your side. ... I invite you to embrace Islam,” he said.

One result of that, bin Laden said, would be an end to the Iraq war. He said “warmongering owners of the major corporations” would rush to appease voters who showed they are looking for an alternative, “and this alternative is Islam.”

This does not make any sense to me.

Am I being blackmailed into believing in Allah?

Now certainly I realize that there is precedence for this sort of thing. Witch Trials in New England and The Inquisition. But honestly, If I was a believer in Islam and my people were bing killed every day would I be convinced by such and argument? Believe in our God or we will kill more of your people? It’s ridiculous.

I have studied the world’s religions. I of all people could be persuaded to join any number of them and have considered doing so for several of them. But let me make this clear and I believe I am speaking for many or most Americans when I say this. I will not be blackmailed into a faith no matter how good or noble true or right.

This is a poor plan for someone who is supposedly a brilliant and devious terrorist.

You may be great at inspiring people to terror, but I don’t think you are going to inspire many Americans to follow anything that way. Just my 2 Dinar.
