Stafford Lake
Went with mrs. mice to Stafford Lake/ Heart of the Forest Faire. It was truly enjoyable. Mrs. mice and I both were warmly received by St. Patrick's and Newcastle both. We took some photos. I even got to dance some.

I am considering writing a primer of what I know about English Country Dance.

Feises and Hearts of Forests
I went to mrs. mice's feis or Irish folk dancing competition. She wasn't up to her usual splendor but I was happy to be there to cheer her on. She did finally smile when she did her two hand and four hand.

Ren Faire
Years ago, I started participating in Renaissance Faire. I'm trying to remember the first year I started. I think it might have been like 1991 or 1992 or something. I was trying to drive tomato trucks for the summer, but had been fired before I was able to drive a single truck because I wasn't manly enough or a good enough driver or wasn't learning fast enough. I was out of school and needed something to do for the summer and I got convinced to go by several friends that Ren Faire was fun. I remember my first day on site. I thought that I wanted to have tomatoes thrown at my face. I am only realizing now that both possibilities revolved around a vegetable I don't like.

Feis History
DSCN0851

Just found some pics of mrs. mice at a feis a little while ago that I had to show you. I find them quite hilarious but they don't really fit in the Funny Face experiment.
