Firey Wench had a great non-meme that I participated in. I extended the same invitation to her.

What did she want to see pictures of? My desk and my favorite shirt. She did not specify which desk so I took pics of both. I made sure to remove any passwords on sticky notes I may or may not have had. :( I decided to spare ya my chest in my favorite shirt since that was not specified.

Well there it is. If anyone else wants to request what they would like see pictures of around miceland I am now accepting requests. I had fun so thank you FW for a fun idea.

Yesterday I was linked in Boing Boing. Wow. A pretty cool thing for me. It was a link to my writeup on Tips and Tricks for Taking Pictures with Disney Characters It looks like firstly The Disney Blog. Linked it. Then it looks like that scoop was scooped (or was suggested to) by Boing Boing.

As a result my stats were slightly above their usual amount.

I will be adding to the Tips and Tricks for Taking Pictures with Disney Characters but I have been busy. Little Bit had a sick day yesterday from day care. Luckily she is better and back at Day Care today. She seems to love going there now.

Well miceland is 2 years old. I don't have any prizes or amazing news. I was going to give you some of my favorite miceland postings but I didn't find anything that was super-de-licious enough to repeat.

I am very happy to have this as an outlet and I'm very appreciative to have friends of miceland who read occasionally or regularly.

On a different note, I won 20 dollars playing Blackjack with my Dad on Sunday. That was fun bonding time. Little Bit was not sleeping very well in Tahoe. She slept better in her own bed last night after we got back. Email me for logon to a special page for picture of Little Bit and her cousins.

Still working on my Christmas list. Gagh.

I remember my wife woke me up and was crying saying that something terrible had happened and that New York was being attacked. I didn't want to believe her. I wasn't even awake and I saw the footage of the second plane crashing into the WTC. It hit me like a ton of bricks. I couldn't believe that it was even real.

It is real. It was, and now everything has changed. Its impossible to be so naive now. Its scary to think about the world that Little Bit has been born into. Almost nothing like when mice was born. We figured there wasn't anything that a Block Parent placard in the window would not help. Jeez.

I miss being able to rebel just for the sake of rebelling. That seems utterly ridiculous now. I don't feel much like rebelling against everyone and everything. I am proud to be an American now. I feel we have some beautiful people and some great ideals which we occasionally adhere to. I pray for everyone that lost someone now three years ago today.
